About Us

Linda was born and raised in Paducah, KY. After living away from Paducah in Columbia, MO and St Louis, MO, she returned home in the fall of 1980 to the same house she grew up in on Jefferson Street. In 1984, Linda graduated from Murray State University with her MBA. After passing the CPA exam, she worked for another firm in Paducah until October of 1984 when she formed Miller & Nanni. She was in that partnership until April of 1998 when she started the firm of L A Miller, CPA, PSC. At that time the firm moved to our current location – 215 Nahm Street. She now manages the tax and accounting personnel of the office. Linda prepares tax returns and financial statements. She consults with clients on tax and accounting concerns, researches current tax and accounting issues. Linda enjoys working through financial issues with clients and helping them with tax planning and preparing returns. She truly loves doing what a lot of people say they “hate”. Although she only sees the majority of her tax clients once a year, Linda enjoys the time they are able to spend catching up on what has transpired during the year. She cares about each and every one of her clients and loves helping them with whatever tax and financial issues that may arise.

Sherry lives in Grand Rivers, KY with her husband, where she owns and operates Grand Rivers Antiques. She is an Alumni of Murray State University with her Bachelor’s in Business and Accounting. Sherry has worked for Linda at L.A. Miller since 1991 and loves serving clients with complex accounting needs. She is also passionate about helping L.A. Miller’s clients set plans and reach their business and individual goals.

Aundrea is a native of Marshall County and moved to McCracken County in 2006. She is an Alumni of Murray State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Studies. Aundrea has worked in business management for over 17 years. She began working for L.A. Miller in April of 2012 as the Administrative Assistant, before quickly moving to the Firm Administrator, and now Associate.

Misty was born in Melber, KY and graduated from Bethel Christian Academy in 1990. She now resides in Cunningham. Misty’s first public job was with NCI at age 17, where she started out in the A/R and Payroll Department. She worked at NCI from 1991 – 1999 then went to WBE, INC. from 1999 to 2006. By the end of her career at WBE, INC. she was doing almost everything! Then in 2006, Misty began working at L.A. Miller where she loves turning a mess of numbers into a masterpiece.

Renae is a native of Paducah, Ky and now lives with her husband and daughter in Metropolis, IL. She has worked with accounts receivable since 2002 and started working in payroll processing in 2013. She came to work at L.A. Miller by chance, in March of 2014. She was impressed by the dedication every employee gives to the client’s and was eager to be part of the team.

Merissa was raised a military brat, she and her three kiddos settled down in the Paducah area in 2008. She had been working as a case manager for eight years when she decided she wanted a career change. She became part of the L.A. Miller family in September 2015, where she fell in love with every aspect of the business. Merissa is now an integral part of the payroll department and a registered tax preparer and loves assisting clients.

Benita was born and raised right here in Paducah, KY. After moving away for a few short years, she decided to move back and make Paducah her forever home. She has been married to her best friend for 26 years. They have 5 children and several grandchildren. Benita has been in the accounting field for over 12 years. She has been with L.A. Miller for more than 5 years and says it was the best decision she ever made, just like a second family.

Dawn was born and raised in Paducah and now lives in Reidland with her husband and two sons. She is a graduate from Reidland High School and was the office manager at a local boat dealership before deciding to become a stay-at-home mom. Now Dawn is here with us and the first face you’ll see at our office. She absolutely loves chatting with and getting to know all our clients.
